"Mental ill health among young people today is alarmingly high and innovative interventions are needed. The "Dance Project", a randomized study from Örebro University, showed that regular dance provided health benefits for teenage girls with stress-related problems. The methodology called "Dance for Health" is now used all over Sweden; mainly as a complementary intervention in student health, but also in child and adolescent psychiatry and primary care."
